Sleep Apnea and Glaucoma
DEC 11, 2013
Have you ever heard of sleep apnea causing glaucoma?
Yes. The association between sleep apnea and glaucoma is somewhat controversial. Theoretically, it is thought that sleep apnea may decrease the blood flow to the optic nerve, causing glaucoma-like damage.
