Is It Safe to Wear Two Pairs of Contact Lenses?
FEB 08, 2024
Answer:
Do not do this. One contact on top of another can alter the fit of the prescription lens and will diminish how much oxygen your cornea receives.
And if you want to continue wearing colored contact lenses separately to alter the color of your eyes, only wear those made with a prescription from your ophthalmologist or other eye care professional for a custom fit. Wearing non-prescription or "one-size fits all" lenses can harm your eyes, cause infection, and even lead to vision loss.
