What can be done if my hearing aid doesn’t conform to my eyeglasses?
NOV 13, 2018
Question:
I recently purchased hearing aids and my eyeglasses temple tips are too big for comfort and displace the hearing aids. Are there eyeglasses specially made for this problem?
Answer:
Were those hearing aids purchased through a website? That can explain the poor temple fit. If you got them through a hearing aid dealer, they would have modified them for your eyeglasses or sold you an alternative that would have been compatible with your eyeglasses. That being said, an optical shop might be able to modify the temple pieces on the eyeglasses to fit the hearing aid properly, so check with them as a last resort.
