  • Will my aunt’s surgery be successful if she refuses eye drops afterwards?

    My disabled aunty had cataract surgery but is refusing to let anyone put in the eye drops. Will the operation still be successful without her using them?


    Answer:

    Of course, it is best that all drops are used to prevent infection and inflammation. If she is not using the drops I suggest you call her doctor ASAP and see what else can be done. If you can teach her to put her own drops in, maybe she would accept that?
