Question:
I am 31 weeks pregnant with my second child and have been diagnosed with central serous chorioretinopathy in my right eye. Is this going to worsen due to strain during normal delivery?
Answer:
While the occurrence of central serous retinopathy has been shown to be associated with pregnancy, there is no evidence that it is worsened by the strain of delivery.
