  • Will resuming AMD injections regain central vision or stop further loss?


    Question:
     After many injections for wet AMD, my husband stopped treatment during the pandemic and has lost central vision. Would further injections bring back his central vision or stop further loss?

    Answer:
     I recommend that your husband have a complete eye examination to determine the reason for his change in vision and to see if any further treatment would help. Without a complete eye exam it is difficult to make any treatment recommendations.
