Academy Challenges Burdensome PQRS Requirements

Last week, Academy staff met with Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services leaders to challenge quality-reporting changes in the proposed 2015 Medicare physician fee schedule. Academy staff explained how and why the proposed changes would hurt ophthalmologists. The meeting focused on proposed changes to the Physician Quality Reporting System.
