Academy Honors Two Societies for Activating Advocacy Among Young Ophthalmologists
Two societies received the Academy’s 2015 Platinum Participation Award April 16 at the Mid-Year Forum for their efforts to support the Advocacy Ambassador Program. Academy leaders honored the Association for Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus and the Florida Society of Ophthalmology for helping bring young ophthalmologists to the annual spring event in Washington, D.C.
