CMS: MIPS Cost Category Reweighted to 0% for 2020
The effects of COVID-19 on medical practices have prompted the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) to reweight the cost performance category from 15% to 0% for the 2020 Merit-Based Incentive Payment System performance period, the agency announced last month.
