CMS Proposes to Reduce Meaningful Use Reporting Period, Ease Other Requirements
Participants in meaningful use, Medicare’s Electronic Health Record Incentive Program, would only have to report for 90 days in 2015, rather than a year, under changes in a proposed rule released April 10. After pressure from the Academy and other groups, the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services is trying to make the electronic health records incentive program easier for physicians.
