Ophthalmology Among Most Penalized Specialties Under Value-Based Modifier
Most groups subject to the 2015 value-based modifier adjustment did not properly participate in the Physician Quality Reporting System in 2013, according to a new report. The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services released its first-ever experience report on the value-based modifier program earlier this month.
