CMS Reprocessing All Submitted Medicare Claims for First Quarter of 2018
The Academy has learned that the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services has instructed its Medicare administrative contactors to reprocess all claims submitted between Jan. 1 and April 1, 2018. This results from legislation passed in February that changed the work geographic practice cost index. Contractors will process all claims, but will change only some.
