    Recently when discussing his involvement with a community health center in Washington, D.C., William L. Rich III, MD, the Academy’s medical director for health policy, noted the importance of an integrated medical team in meeting the needs of a population at risk. Nine years ago, Dr. Rich became involved with the La Clínica del Pueblo, a newly renovated, state-of-the-art clinic that caters to the area’s large Central American Hispanic population.
