First of Four U.S. Military Ocular Trauma Centers Opens in Texas
The Academy has partnered with military ophthalmologists and the Blinded Veterans Association to advocate for the creation of ocular trauma centers to provide enhanced treatment of complex eye injuries experienced by military service members. The first of four centers opened on April 19 at Fort Sam Houston, Texas.
