Pfizer Announces Discontinuation of Phospholine Iodide May 1 Despite Academy’s Efforts
Although the Academy, American Glaucoma Society and American Association for Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus have tried to work with Pfizer Inc. on shortages of Phospholine Iodide (echothiophate iodide) ophthalmic drops, the company has announced that it will discontinue the product after May 1.
