• U.S. House Renews Debate on Health Care Truth in Advertising

    The Academy effort to promote truth in health care advertising received a boost this week when a bill was introduced in the U.S. House of Representatives. Reps. Larry Bucshon, MD, R-Ind., and David Scott, D-Ga., reintroduced the Truth in Health Marketing Act to help clarify patient uncertainty about the many types of providers in the health care marketplace.
