The Academy encourages members to participate on Feb. 4 in an online advocacy day organized by the American Association of Orthopaedic Surgeons. This event is intended to pressure federal lawmakers to finally reform the Medicare physician payment system, by repealing the sustainable growth rate formula and provide relief from scheduled payment penalties.
