FDA approves generic glaucoma drug

The U.S. FDA has approved a generic equivalent of Cosopt.

Lannett Company reports that its Abbreviated New Drug Application was approved for dorzolamide hydrochloride and timolol maleate ophthalmic solution, 2%/0.5% for patients with open-angle glaucoma or ocular hypertension who are insufficiently responsive to beta-blockers.
