  • Optos plc announced that it has received 510(k) clearance from the FDA for microperimetry as part of the OptosOCT SLO, which combines spectral OCT imaging with a confocal scanning laser ophthalmoscope. The microperimetry test run concurrently with high-speed imaging delivers real-time tracking of retinal vessels.

    The company describes the device as the only one on the market that can conduct structural OCT and functional microperimetry testing.
