Carl Zeiss Meditec announced a 2.9 percent increase in revenues, to 649.1 million euros, for the first nine months of the fiscal year compared to the same period of the previous year.
The company reported a slight increase in its ophthalmic systems strategic business unit’s sales, to 266.8 million euros. Sales from its surgical ophthalmology unit increased 16.2 percent to 92.7 million euros. Revenues grew at just under 3 percent in all three business regions — Asia/Pacific, Americas and Europe, Middle East and Africa.
