Santen’s preservative-free glaucoma drug approved in Japan

Santen Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. announced that Japan's Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare has granted manufacturing and marketing clearance to Tapros Mini Ophthalmic Solution 0.0015%  (tafluprost) for the treatment of glaucoma and ocular hypertension.

Tapros Mini Ophthalmic Solution 0.0015% is a preservative-free prostaglandin analogue containing the same active ingredient, tafluprost, at the same concentration as Tapros Ophthalmic Solution 0.0015%, which was launched in 2008.
