    Retina/Vitreous

Acute central retinal artery occlusion. (A) Retinal circulation is virtually nonexistent. Only a few small portions of central retinal artery show fluorescein dye. Background choroidal flouorescence can be readily seen. (B) This frame, taken 10 minutes after injection, shows non perfusion of retinal vessels. Staining of walls of arteries and veins can ben seen, indicating damage to these vessels. Ground-glass appearance of retina in macula region is noted.
