    Choroidal melanoma, treated. A, Mildly elevated remnant of a melanoma surrounded by atrophic chorioretinal scarring after plaque brachytherapy, nasal to the optic nerve head. B, RPE and choroid are absent (and the outer retina likely atrophic) but the inner retina is present, as evidenced by its blood vessels, after transscleral resection of choroidal melanoma located temporal to the macula.
