    Retina/Vitreous

Intravenous fluorescein angiograms of patients with AMD. a. Purely classic extrafoveal CNV. The venous phase shows well-defined, early, “lacy” hyperfluorescence well outside the foveal center. b. The recirculation phase shows leakage from purely classic hyperfluorescent CNV in the same patient. c. Purely classic juxtafoveal CNV. This venous-phase angiogram shows well-defined, early, “lacy” hyperfluorescence approximately 100 μm from the foveal center. d. Purely occult subfoveal CNV. Angiogram (venous phase) demonstrates ill-defined, stippled hyperfluorescence at the level of the retinal pigment epithelium (RPE) amid blood and extending through the fovea, which leaks in later frames.
