In-the-bag subluxation. a. An in-the-bag, plate-haptic intraocular lens (IOL) with subluxation. b. A subluxated bag–IOL–capsular tension ring (CTR) complex. This may be refixed in a closed globe technique, using sutures, or in a sutureless manner with the glued capsular hook. c. An in-the-bag IOL is dislocated partly into anterior chamber. Explantation with IOL exchange is indicated. d. A dislocated IOL bag complex is seen. A vitreoretinal approach is required. e. Late degradation of suture, causing IOL-bag-capsular tension segment subluxation. f. A dislocated CTR is seen, requiring a vitreoretinal approach for removal.
