    Cataract/Anterior Segment

A “mustache-folded” IOL. With this technique the optic of the IOL is folded with the haptics overlapping each other. Once in the eye, the haptics can be placed behind the iris, with the optic anterior to the iris, which captures the implant. The haptics can then be sutured to the iris.
