    Cataract/Anterior Segment

Out-of-the-bag subluxation. a. A single-piece polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) intraocular lens (IOL) placed in the sulcus in a case with extensive zonulodialysis and torn anterior capsule with postoperative subluxation. b. A single-piece IOL placed in the sulcus in a case with a large posterior capsular rent and inadequate capsular support, showing postoperative subluxation. These (a and b) may be repositioned by careful closed globe translocation to a glued IOL, taking care not to snap the PMMA haptics while exteriorizing them. c. A single-piece acrylic IOL placed in the sulcus in a case with large posterior capsular rent and inadequate capsular support. Explantation with IOL exchange is indicated. d. A subluxated single-piece polymethyl methacrylate IOL with haptic in the anterior chamber. e. A dislocated single-piece acrylic IOL lying on the retina. f. A pseudophacocele with the IOL dislocated to the subconjunctival space after blunt trauma.
