    Pinguecula. This pinguecula is fleshy, elevated, and vascularized, but does not invade cornea. Pinguecula may be mild, with few or no vessels, and flat or slightly elevated, as this one is. This inflamed pinguecula caused symptoms of irritation and stained superficially with fluorescein.
