(A) Rubosis iridis characteristically appears first at papillary border and then extends into iris surface. (B) However, in progressive cases, it is rapidly seen in anterior chamber angle. Subsequent neovascular glaucoma and precipitous loss of vision may result, especially without prompt and extensive PRP treatment.
