    (A) Fundus photograph of left eye of 62-year-old woman with quiescent PDR following phacoemulsification cataract extraction with implementation of posterior chamber IOL. Visual acuity was 20/200. (B) Intravenous fluorescein angiography reveals diffuse leakage of fluorescein in fovea. Note paucity of microaneurysms. About 6 months later visual acuity had improved to 20/25 without later treatment.
