    Cataract/Anterior Segment

Use of triamcinolone for anterior vitrectomy. Preservative-free triamcinolone placed though a limbal incision will collect in the fibrils of the vitreous gel and help the surgeon visualize the vitreous. In the image, limbal infusion is being used with the vitrector placed through a pars plana wound. This configuration creates an anterior-to-posterior fluid flow, which helps clear the anterior segment of vitreous.
