How do I retrieve my username / email?

How do I access my products / exams?
- Visit www.aao.org/access
- Enter your access key from the email or card you received
- Log in with your AAO website username and password OR create an account if you do not have an account at Create an Account
- Click on the word "Access" displayed below the product or exam title or image
How do I obtain an access key?
Contact your administrator and ask them to resend you the access instructions as this will contain your access key. If you do not have an administrator, contact licensesales@aao.org.
How do I access my eBook?
- Visit www.aao.org/access
- Enter your access key from the email or card you received
- Log in with your AAO website username and password OR create an account if you do not have an account at Create an Account
- Click on the word "Access" displayed below the product or exam title or image.

What if I do not see my product or exam on My Product / Exam page?
Make sure you are logged in with the account that should have access and return to your access email and repeat the steps to ensure your access key was accepted. If your key is accepted, then recheck to see if the product or exam has appeared on My Products / Exam page. If you receive a message that your key is already in use, ask your administrator to unassign and then reassign the key to you. If you do not have an administrator, send an email to licensesales@aao.org with the account you are logged in with and your access key.
What if my access key is not valid?
If the system states that your access key is not valid, try again with the key. If it still does not work, ask your administrator to send you a new key. If they are not able to assist, send an email to licensesales@aao.org with the account you are logged in with and your access key.
What if my access key has expired?
If the system states that your access key has expired, ask your administrator to send you a new access key. If they are not able to assist, send an email to licensesales@aao.org with the account you are logged in with and your access key.
How do I access my product or exam after having claimed the key?
Visit My Products / Exam page. You will need to be logged in.
How can I contact the Academy for additional assistance?
Email licensesales@aao.org or call Customer Service at +1-415-561-8558. Include in the body of your email:
- Member or customer number (if known)
- Access key
- The URL of the page you are on
- Browser version and computer platform
- A short description of the problem you are having
- Any error messages you are receiving
