Lens Choices for Glaucoma Patients

In this interview from ASCRS 2021, Dr. Manjool Shah describes lens choices for glaucoma patients. Toric lenses are a great option, he explained, except for in cases with trabeculectomies because they can introduce a highly variable astigmatism. Meanwhile, multifocal and extended depth of field lenses may be beneficial for patients with mild angle-closure glaucoma.
