Tools for Teaching, at Home and Afar

Dr. Wallace Alward discusses his AGS 2017 lecture, in which he highlights innovative approaches for developing resources for teaching about glaucoma. Some of the topics include software options such as Camtasia (TechSmith) and iBooks Author (Apple). Dr. Alward also discusses the flipped classroom, a teaching approach that reverses the lecture and homework elements: short video lectures are viewed by students at home before class, and class time is devoted to discussion and application.
