In this interview from the 2013 American Glaucoma Society Annual Meeting, Dr. Davinder Grover talks with Dr. Ronald Fellman about advances in trabeculotomy technique that have allowed for more favorable healing and significantly improved results in adults. Trabeculotomy is no longer just for congenital glaucoma, says Dr. Grover. He also reports on a study he and Dr. Fellman conducted using a novel technique for 360-degree gonioscopy-assisted transluminal trabeculotomy in both juvenile glaucoma and adult eyes with failed glaucoma surgery. Results showed this technique reduces IOP and medication use in both children and adults.
