Tube Erosions: The Pedicle Flap

In this interview Dr. Ronald Fellman talks with Dr. James Merritt about a surgical technique for managing complex glaucoma drainage device tube erosion, the forniceal conjunctival pedicle flap. They discuss how they developed it, how to perform it, as well as a variation using the split-lid technique, a procedural improvement if fornix access is difficult. A study further describing their method was published in the May 2013 issue of JAMA Ophthalmology.
