Present a Practice Management Instruction Course

Description: Each year at the Academy’s annual meeting, the American Academy of Ophthalmic Executives offers more than 70 one-hour instruction courses that address a variety of practice management challenges. Contact aaoe@aao.org for information on getting started.

Expectations: Your instruction course should be engaging, well-organized, accurate, address a pertinent need in practice management and, if relevant, provide actionable strategies.  

Time commitment: Three to five hours to develop instruction course.  

Instructions: Instructions for submission are posted at aao.org/aaoe from early January through mid-January.     

Deadlines: The submission tool opens every year on the second Thursday of December and closes on the second Tuesday of January. Acceptance notifications are sent to presenters in May.
