Write for Practice Management Express

Description: The American Academy of Ophthalmic Executives® (AAOE®), the Academy's practice management affiliate, publishes Practice Management Express, a weekly e-newsletter that offers information on running a successful ophthalmic practice. Topics include: 1) Alternative Revenue Sources; 2) Business and Finance, 3) Human Resources, 4) IT and Cybersecurity, 5) Marketing, 6) Patient Experience 7) Practice Improvement and Lean 8) Professional Growth and Leadership, 9) Recruiting, Hiring, and Training, 10) Small Practice, and 11) Staff Training and Development.

Expectations: Write an article that is accurate and focuses on providing strategies, tips and other takeaways that members can immediately implement in their practices. 

Time commitment: one to three hours. 

Instructions: Take a few moments to review the AAOE section of AAO.org to familiarize yourself with articles that have been written for practice management. Before writing, contact aaoe@aao.org to discuss the article topic for publication.  

Articles must be 300 to 500 words and focus on a topic of concern to practice management. All articles will be reviewed for acceptance within two to three weeks of submission. Articles are reviewed and may be edited by the Academy.  

Deadlines: Varies, depending on the content/theme of the weekly Practice Management Express.
