    Size scaling is when an object nearby looks larger than the same object farther away. A locker next to you looks bigger than one you can see down the hall. Our brains know that the lockers are basically the same size, it’s just distance that makes one look smaller. Artists use this to create distance or depth in their drawings. When an object is larger in the picture, we think it’s closer. When an object is smaller in the picture, we think it’s father away.
