Question: How do I submit a bilateral fluorescein angiography with pathology in both eyes? Should it be as a single line item with modifier -50 or two lines with -RT and -LT?
Answer: As of Jan. 1, 2017, CPT code 92235 Fluorescein angiography is inherently bilateral. Whether one or both eyes are tested, bill only one test.
