Billing Exam Same Day as OCT and Injection
Question: When billing for an established patient exam along with OCT and injection, are all three payable?
Answer: CPT code 92134 OCT and 67028 Intravitreal injection are payable. The established-patient exam is payable, too, unless it is performed solely to confirm the need for the injection.
