Answer: The correct CPT code is 66999 Unlisted anterior segment. Be sure that you include the usual and customary cost of the AMT when billing. To bill 65780, the work included requires extensive dissection of surface scarring and suturing multiple layers of amniotic membrane. It includes 7.5 post-operative exams.
