Photocoagulation of a retinal detachment 67145 was done in December 2021. The procedure is repeated in February 2022. Is it billable under 2022 changes or is it still under the 2021 global guidelines?
Photocoagulation of a retinal detachment 67145 was done in December 2021. The procedure is repeated in February 2022. Is it billable under 2022 changes or is it still under the 2021 global guidelines?
The procedure would be under the 90-day global of the initial procedure, and therefore any subsequent lasers for the same diagnosis in the same eye during the global would not be billable.
