Aravind Eye Hospital offer a state of the art wetlab facility which provides phacoemulsification training on animal eyes. Candidates will have exposure to the phaco machine at the centre prior to performing real time surgery. Access to various standard and high end phaco machines and foldable IOLs.
Structured classes on the maintenance and servicing of phacoemulsification machines and their accessories. Surgeries supervised by senior instructors until surgeon gains confidence to perform independent surgeries. Postoperative review of cases by senior consultants. |
