The Fellowship consists on a 18 months full time hands-on clinical and surgical training in Retina & Vitreous. Fundacion Zambrano performs more than 600 vitrectomies per year and the Fellow will be trained on basic and advanced surgical techniques to treat Diabetic Retinopathy, Retinal Detachment, Macular diseases (macular holes, epiretinal membranes, etc.) AMD (intravitreal injections) among other conditions. |
