If you missed the live broadcast of the virtual meeting Nov. 12 through 15, you can still register for AAO 2021 Virtual to view sessions on demand via the AAO 2021 Virtual meeting platform.

You can also register separately for Subspecialty Day (Friday, Saturday or both) to access all content from each of those meetings.

Already attended in person? If you previously registered for the in-person annual meeting and/or Subspecialty Day meetings in New Orleans, you already have access to the corresponding virtual content. But if you wish to view the content for a meeting you didn’t attend in person, you can register for that separately.

Watching the virtual program is easy. Use the "Virtual" quick search button at the top of the online program to quickly see all available virtual sessions. To narrow your search results, use the blue “Filter” button on the top right of the search page to choose topics, types of sessions, etc. If you want to build a schedule, or select favorite sessions, you’ll need to scroll to the bottom of the search page to log in.

Viewing tips. The virtual meeting can be viewed on a mobile device, but the best viewing experience is on a desktop or laptop with pop-up blockers disabled. It’s also best to log in using a personal device, as institutions/workplaces may have antivirus and firewall software that automatically blocks certain websites. Please note that Internet Explorer is not supported.

The virtual meeting platform is open through Feb. 14, 2022. After Feb. 14, you’ll still be able to access sessions on demand and claim CME credit through Aug. 1, 2022.
