Suspected Fluid Misdirection After Cortical Cleanup

This presentation reviews the challenge of positive posterior pressure with anterior chamber shallowing after lens removal during cataract surgery. Dr. Deepinder Dhaliwal noted positive pressure and chamber shallowing in a 92-year-old man immediately after cortical cleanup and removal of the irrigation/aspiration handpiece; she suspected aqueous misdirection.
