    Present-day cataract management requires surgeons to not only incorporate newer technologies but also update their skills in managing complications. This video reviews complicated situations that any surgeon may encounter during or after cataract surgery and provides pearls for effectively managing such crises. It illustrates critical management of issues such as posterior capsule rupture, phacoemulsification in challenging ocular environments, and dissatisfaction in premium intraocular lens (IOL) patients, providing troubleshooting pearls for successful management of different intraoperative and postoperative complications during cataract surgery.
