Information on billing HCPCS code V2627
I would like some information on code HCPCS code V2627. Does billing for this code includes all follow ups for the next 90 days? Can a physician bill for an office visit or is this included in the billing code as well?
V2627 is a HCPCS code for the supply of the scleral cover shell and therefore does not have global period and is billable the same day as an exam, either E/M or Eye visit code. Coverage is dependent upon the patient’s insurance. As a reminder, this may also apply to the No Surprise Billing Act. You may need to review the cost with the patient.
