Support education and service to prevent global blindness with your tax-deductible donation to the Academy's Foundation. Your support enables us to improve continuing education, build on beneficial service programs, and promote better ways to provide patient care. The Foundation is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization.
Help elect and re-elect pro-ophthalmology candidates to office by supporting the Academy’s political action committee, OPHTHPAC. Your contribution enables us to advocate at the federal level for our members and the patients they treat on the critical issues affecting ophthalmology. OPHTHPAC contributions are used for political purposes, are not tax-deductible, and may not be reimbursed.
Stand up for safe eye surgery by supporting the Academy’s Safe Surgery Action Fund (formerly the Surgical Scope Fund). Your support protects patients by supporting legislative and regulatory advocacy, legal action, public education, and grassroots efforts that uphold the highest standards of surgical eye care. Contributions are not tax-deductible but remain confidential and are not subject to FEC reporting requirements.
